THE EVENT
Alguer Wine Week is the Sardinian Wine Festival: a week dedicated to wine, music, tastings, culture, and entertainment, taking place in Alghero from June 8 to 14, 2026.
The city of Alghero welcomes the third edition of Alguer Wine Week – Sardinian Wines Festival, an event devoted to wine, music, gastronomy, and culture, held among wineries, the historic centre, and the surrounding area.
From June 8 to 14, Alghero will host a range of citywide events, winery tours with live music, tastings paths, initiatives celebrating local excellence, and a final event marking the 90th anniversary of the founding of Fertilia.
Taking part in Alguer Wine Week offers the chance to explore Sardinia’s wineries and discovering the authentic “Island of Wine”
THE PROGRAMME
From June 8 to 14, Alghero will host a series of events throughout the historic centre and surrounding area, winery tours with live music, tastings paths in the heart of the city, initiatives dedicated to local excellence, and a final event celebrating the 90th anniversary of the founding of Fertilia.
The historic centre of Alghero and the village of Fertilia will come alive with stands where visitors will be able to taste wines from the local wineries of the Alghero DOC Wine Consortium and wineries belonging to the main Sardinian wine consortia.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take part in exclusive Masterclasses and tastings hosted by the wineries of Alghero, all connected through the Wine Bus service.
Alguer Wine Week is organized by Promocamera Sassari, Chamber of Commerce of North Sardinia, Municipality of Alghero, Alghero Foundation, Rural District of Alghero Olmedo, and the Consorzio Alghero DOC, under the patronage of the Department of Tourism of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia.
